Sisterhood Get-Away

• Bring a mix of items for warm days and chilly evenings.
• Comfortable walking shoes, and hiking shoes, and hiking stick if you wish, if you choose to do the hikes!
• Umbrella or rain coat
• Rooms are not equipped with telephones, alarm clocks or televisions, so you may want to bring an alarm clock, iron, hair dryer, toiletries, your favorite pillow or blanket, or a fan.
• Be sure to bring a flashlight, phone charger, waterbottle, and Bible/Bible App.
• Sheets, pillows, and towels are provided.
• Food will be provided, but if you want, you can bring specific snacks.
• Bring your ID and Medical Insurance Card in case of emergencies.
• Public Wi-Fi is available in the main room.

LutherRock

We'll be staying at Lutherock Camp & Conference Center near Newland, North Carolina. 

When using GPS use 84 Camp Luther Rd, Newland NC 28657. Make sure to use directions that include Wes Brewer Rd.

*Disclaimer*- there is a natural creek that runs through our driveway when you arrive at camp, it rarely rises above 3-4 inches deep and is perfectly safe to drive through.

We plan to offer a variety of foods throughout the weekend, but if you have specific dietary needs, please pan to bring meal substitutes or let us know in advance! 

Of course! The Sisterhood is designed to bring ladies of all ages together with fun activities in hopes of building meaningful relationships with each other. If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Yes. Our itinerary is designed for flexibility. We hope you can stay the whole weekend, but we totally understand if you need to leave early! 

Most buildings are handicap accessible, with few exceptions. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us before your visit at news@denverumc.org, to make arrangements. We will do everything possible to accommodate your needs.
