Our monthly JOY meeting will be at 11 AM on Thursday, April 10th in the Family Life Center. Representatives from Acquire Wealth Management will be speaking on tax advantage giving, ways to reduce taxes, and retirement planning, lunch will be provided. All JOY members and anyone over 50 years old are welcome to attend. RSVP by April 6th.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide fun and Christian fellowship for our senior adults through monthly activities and programs, travel opportunities and serving others in the community.
Activities and Contacts
Program : Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the CORC. A covered dish luncheon will be served the middle month of each quarter. Activities include fellowship, entertainment, informational speakers and more. We also enjoy movie night every fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Terraces Clubhouse. Card Night: Card night will be held every Monday night from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the FLC hallway outside the library. Chairperson: Rosanne Kocher (rosannekocher@gmail.com)
Travel: Members and guests take day/overnight/extended trips to points of interest nearby or out-of-state. Chairperson: Wanda Reynolds (wandareynolds@gmail.com)
Service/Outreach : Opportunities for service and outreach within the church and the Denver community are available for anyone looking for a way to serve others. Examples include Wexford House Assisted Living, Helping Hands Ministry, proctoring school exams, Vacation Bible Camp, Mission Response Center, mentoring in the schools, etc.
Book Club: Meetings for members are held on Mondays at 1:00 p.m. every other month in FLC 204 to discuss/review a book they have read. See calendar for specific dates. Chairperson: Connie Berry (connieberry_1@msn.com)
Sunshine Ministry : We care deeply about our members and remember them in times of need with cards and/or meals to bring a little “sunshine” into their lives. Chairperson: Judy Martin (gmaladyjudy@gmail.com) or 828-404-2900
