supporting their capital needs and operating expenses is still a priority.

Henderson Settlement provides an opportunity to serve as the bridge between dreams and reality for families of the Laurel Fork Valley and to give groups the opportunity to witness for Christ through home repair.

  • How much will it cost?

    $325 per person (to stay in a House or Cottage), 

    $250 per person (to stay in a Dorm)

  • Is this trip safe?

    Yes, it is safe, but be aware that you may be working on home repairs and incur risks associated with this type of labor

  • Who can participate?

    Anyone from age 12 and up

  • What will we be doing?

    Community or Campus Building projects (Building new, repairs and painting), sorting and filing in Library, Thrift shift, MIHOW Children's Boutique, Greenhouse projects, Craft projects with Community people, Food store sorting and stacking, and more.

  • What are the dates & location of the trip?

     Frakes, KY


    Frakes, KY, is located in the southeastern corner of Kentucky, just north of the TN border and just west of WV.

  • What are the Covid-19 precautions?

    There are COVID protocols established by Henderson Settlement to minimize contact across groups at Henderson Settlement.  Outside in Community we follow CDC guidelines.  More information on Henderson Settlement website is available.
