This is a great opportunity for families to serve together to meet and truly befriend those who are without homes or are marginalized and to attempt to understand life in a different context. We will break down stereotypes and barriers between material wealth and poverty, through relationally and educationally focused activities.

  • How much will it cost?

    $350

     

    Deposit $100 Due by Feb. 1st, 

    Final Payment: $250 due by March 15th

  • Is this trip safe?

    Yes! You will be constantly surrounded by team members that are experienced with the culture and area. 

  • Who can participate?

    Youth and Adults are encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity for families to serve together.

  • What will we be doing?

    We partner with local groups and organizations to serve the homeless population in Asheville, NC, including the Haywood Street Congregation of Asheville NC, a unique church of housed and unhoused alike. Urban Ministry is an immersive experience to learn from and work alongside groups such as these who foster mutually redemptive relationships.  We will break down stereotypes and barriers between material wealth and poverty through relationally and educationally focused activities.

    June 26-July 2, 2022 Asheville, NC

  • What are the Covid-19 precautions?

    Current local guidelines for Social distancing and masks will be followed.

    Donate to the trip scholarship fund for someone to attend who cannot afford the cost of the trip.
