One of our youth, Alex Kresge, has chosen to work with DUMC for her Gold Award, the highest-ranking award in the Girl Scouts. Alex worked to create a digital and paper registry of our Veterans and Active Service Members. Along with this registry, she is built a memorial area including a bench on DUMC's campus. In 2021, we put together the Veterans Directory with all the names and information we received from our veterans and church members. On November 14th at 12:30 p.m. the Harbor Youth hosted a soup, salad, and sandwich lunch for our Veterans, Service Members, families and any church members who chose to attend. Alex Patton from the Lincoln County Veterans Affairs Office was also there to speak with anyone about their service and benefits. Thank you for all your hard work and attendance!
