Soul to Soul

Soul to Soul Outreach, Inc. works to meet the needs of the homeless and indigent through advocacy, connection to resources, and spiritual guidance. It began when two women, Jen and Lynne, answered God's call to serve the homeless. They toured Hesed House and soon traveled with the director into tent cities and under bridges, where many call home. Eventually, they went out on their own, handing out water, food, bug spray, and other items.. They've built relationships with these often unseen neighbors. God is using them as advocates in the court and health systems, to walk with people through sobriety and drug addiction rehab, to celebrate sobriety anniversaries, obtain affordable housing, new jobs, births, and much more. They are there when it’s good and when it’s ugly and hard.

We are in need of individuals who are willing to help with once a week street outreach at the Christian Ministries Soup Kitchen in Lincolnton. We need a treasurer and people to be on a committee for fundraising and events.

New volunteers are welcome to walk with them, advocate with them, and to love this group with them. A volunteer website manager is also needed.
