David Hiatt

David is excited to begin his tenure serving Denver UMC and serving alongside its members as together they live into Denver's mission of being a harbor of hope in a chaotic world. He and his wife, Mae, have been married for 15 years and are parents to two terrific daughters.

David grew up in Thomasville, NC, and enjoys fishing, golf, and woodworking. He holds an undergraduate degree in Religion from High Point University and a Masters of Divinity from Duke Divinity School. David values relationships in ministry and believes that a church is at its best when it is missionally and communally focused.
